00:38 Cop's bike is a Henderson with inline 4 cylinder engine, Todd's car is an American Austin. American Austin became American Bantam in 1936, Bantam would go on to produce the initial prototype of what became 'Jeep' on a modified American Bantam chassis. Dig the 'home security' devices the out of work cop installs in the ladies' apartment. Nice radio, as well.

They never explain why they need 3 sets of bed sheets. They only have one bed (see other Thelma/Zasu films -- they sleep together). Did Thelma know Butterworth was moving in? Thelma splashes him with her car, lies to him, punches him in the face, pulls his shirt off thru his pants, gets him fired, yells when he doesn't have dinner ready. The film could have been called "F* The Police". Love pre-code movies.
