I lived in Unixx for 2 weeks through Airbnb. Not enough elevators for 1200 units. Sometimes it took me up to 15 minutes just to get from my apartment out to the road. Unixx is just like The Base and The Edge, an airbnb-hotel for chinese/korean/russians.

Thanks for the info! Nice area. Did you notice any problems with soi dogs along those walking trails?

I used to workout there on a daily basis and sometimes used to feed the dogs dry food, they always seemed friendly. That being said, four years ago I was walking on the opposite end behind the famous Pattaya sign, and a wild dog nearly lunged at me. I had to step back quickly

This condo complex offers quite a bit to like. Hard to find a 1 bedroom for 10k or less a month without really sacrificing location. This place is close enough to the major areas that I can see it potentially working even for someone without a motorbike to get around. I reckon budgeting around 70 baht a day for transport costs which adds up to an extra 2100 baht a month so true price of living here is 12.1k a month which still isn't bad for what you get. To offset that cost one is paying government rate on electricity which is great! I will consider this place thanks Reds

Chaloem Phra Kiat Park, a short walk to the left of the Unixx complex. Through the park they have long paths

Kitchen doesn't justify being called a kitchen, smallest fridge I've seen in a condo, lounge also poky. Good view though and cheap.
