The original owner collected a lot of great stuff! I am shocked he didn’t bag and board that amazing haul of comics and also preserve the baseball cards. My guess at one time he was buying comic hauls from people who wanted to get rid of them and he simply couldn’t keep up with them. Rene, in the future, I understand it’s a formidable task, but you have to be super delicate when handling comics and cards. I can’t stress this enough! Another bend, color breaks, and slightly tears can mean thousands of dollars in value! You and Casey are awesome! Love your videos! Informative and fun!

He's not saying he sells them all for $5 a piece.. he's saying all 25cent comics go for a minimum of $5 in his store at the worst end of the scale

At 10:54 I believe that is a SPECIAL BOOK. I was watching a video on the HISTORY of Captain Marvel. The company was sued until they finally decided to stop publishing the magazine. The character wasn't that popular and so the company ended their legal fight and stopped publishing the original Captain Marvel. THIS VERSION of the CHARACTER is another company's IDEA of a NEW Captain Marvel where his body parts, like his FIST could come off. This is probably a VERY RARE book. I don't know how valuable it is but for a COLLECTOR this could be something very SPECIAL. This version of the character DIDN'T become POPULAR and the book was shelved. PLEASE READ THIS COMMENT!!!!!!!

You are extremely fortunate . Someone may have already brought this up but you shouldn't stack comics in the same direction . They will eventually slide off and that could damage them . Every ten or so turn 180° so that the spine or fold is on opposite sides . That way they will stack higher and safer . You guys down south find so much good stuff it hurts . I've been doing this since a little bit before the show going on ten years now . I found 20 ten cent comics a couple weeks ago and that was the largest amount of old ones I've ever found . We buy 2 to 5 units a week and it's a grind and I love this job . Thanks for the cool videos and keep digging

Some will sell for 20 some for 5 and some for 2 but they all will sell , and we might even get some graded , be on the lookout for a future video

One way to get a basic idea of value is to purchase the Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide. You can look up any/all of these. They are pricing by basic grading. Condition is the key to value. Most of these look to be in fair to good condition. Congrats!!!

I can't see you selling $500.00 comics for $5.00 each. educate yourself and buy a 2017 comic book price guide. you can sell them on ebay but you are going to have to hire a lot of trustworthy help to load and ship them. I'm really glad for you guys, and especially happy that you are sharing your find with us. any superhero 10 cent or 12 cent golden and silver age are going to be well received, especially first appearances which your collection has. Awesome!
@kellykitkat406 жыл бұрын
Idiotic. Comic book guides are opinions - until you actually sell it, .. but if the buyer is somebody who thinks he can flip it for a higher price - that is when the mania , or price bubble, begins. kzbin.info/www/bejne/raqlYqOhlsRmgrs

3:36 why did captain marvel have Shazam on it?
@coreywiley39815 жыл бұрын
Shazam always was called Captain Marvel from the time he was created in Fawcett comics in 1940. He was a really popular hero in the 40's & 50's but DC sued because they thought he was too much like Superman. Eventually Fawcett stopped publishing Shazam and about 15 years later DC acquired the rights to Shazam, but by that time Marvel comics had legally copyrighted a new character called Captain Marvel and then DC was not allowed to use the name any longer so they just rebranded him as simply Shazam.
