i have Bushcraft Scout and its great knife. Mayby to thin for battoning but perfect for every cutting tasks.

It will handle batoning of small kindling for fire prep but I wouldn’t push my luck with .090” spine

Thanks for the vid man. I ordered the Bushcrafter Ultralite. May I suggest that you turn your mic volume up. I can barely hear it.

Thanks for the comment! You will love the ULB! I did not have a mic for most of the videos. I do have one now and the newer videos were filmed with it. I have no video or photography experience so learning as I go. I spend most of my free time practicing skills rather than learning technology. I will try to make the videos better as I go.

Would you ever edc the regular size bushcrafter? I know the ulb is better for edc. Just curious?

Yes I have. The bushcrafter is not bad at all for edc imo. It is on the larger side for my idea of a edc, but it can be made to ride very comfortably

@@easternadventures4254 sweet! How’s the tip strength on the ulb? I know the grind and steel make a huge difference with the thin stock, but I have slipjoints with thicker blades. I suppose that’s why I asked about the bushcrafter 1 for edc instead of the ulb. I’m looking for the “one” knife. Bushcrafter or ulb?

@@zacszuberski I have had no worries with the tip. I’ve done a lot of carving on hard woods with the ulb’s and the tip seems very stout.
