I just got one of these eggs today because my dogs bark like crazy inside all hours of the day and night! They frequently will just get into howling fits for 20+ minutes at a time! Once they start howling nothing we did would make them stop and we'd just have to wait it out. Today there were 3 separate occasions were the started up but immediately stopped. I have had such a quite day as today in years!!! I'm excited to be able to have a full night of uninterrupted sleep!

Our mini schnauzer Lester loves to bark at anything, at any time. We live around 9 dogs so Lester will always bark and wind them up. I could so do with this device!

I can see already from comments that people think this device is harming my boys. Please please do research on these products before implying this. Miggy and Mozzie were just scared of the noise. It was not hurting them. The other 3 were completely fine. Remember to that Miggy is afraid of fireworks as well and he reacts the same way to them as he did this device.

Schnauzer Mom I don't like them because we try to use positive reinforcement only and this is a negative reinforcement. My little girl is very nervous and anxious, so I just have to find a different way.

Actually this type of training is called positive punishment. You add something (positive) in order to stop instances of an unwanted behaviour (punishment). Common misconception there. Negative reinforcement would be if you took something away in order to increase the future occurrence of a behavior. Negative reinforcement is very, very rarely used to train dogs because it's not as effective as the other options. It's more commonly used in prey animals such as horses. The name has absolutely nothing to do with perceptions of whether it is a negative experience for the animal being trained.

Schnauzer Mom I saw your Stop Barking product..is the egg different? I have to do something for Ellie...since adopting my new rescue Ellie is going nuts! Ellie is also terrified at fireworks...I trust whatever you choose! I know you would never hurt your dogs! I had gotten a handheld device but couldn’t get it to work right so very interested in what works for you!

I tried the electronic one. All of our dogs went outside & wouldn't come back in until we unplugged it. A neighbor had an adorable mini Schnauzer, Pepper, she trained him with a Water bottle to stop barking.

We have the larger Sonic Egg hanging in our tree to stop the 2 pitbulls in the yard behind us from barking at our Lucy. They sure enough stopped! And my Lucy acted like Miggie and Mozzie...it scared her. I might need the smaller one for when we take her out and about. She barks at people just because she can!

I have one of the noise makers that only the dogs can hear. Works really well but I hate to use it unless all my babies are being bad. My schnauzer is responsive to it but my german pincher is more sensitive to the sound.

Well, from my experience...Iv tried the handheld version some months ago...and I didn't see any results from it with my schnauzer...but I think some are more sensitive to hearing the noise than others, so i know for some it has great results. I hope it continues to work well for magnum!😊

Try the penny can shaker.... they dislike the noise and breaks up the barking... also thank the dog for announcing their discovery, show interest in what is making them bark... they might be challenging you as TOP DOG....take control with a few penny's in a pop can...andshake it to stop the barking...worked for my mini...

I did try the birdhouse, my 3 month old mini must didn't hear the noise and I had it on 3 (highest) 😂 my dog also has seperation/anxiety issues. I can't be by myself AT ALL (bathroom, shower, kitchen, answering door, etc) I KNOW I prob have spoiled him, but wouldn't trade him for the world ❤I do want to try the egg, does it work?? (Plz say yes) 🤞🏼I close the door, he squeals loud and barks like someone is pulling his lungs out!

I know how you feel,I'm having the same problem for 8 years I've been trying everything for help this problem so far nothing works citronella collar,training classes ,etc etc etc I hope you find something different and I can try too because I have problems with neighbors every where so sad but I love ❤️ her besides this she is so sweet dog 😍😍😍😍😍

My mom's schnoodle is the same way. I was taking care of her while my parents were on vacation, and I nearly lost my mind. My neighbors were so angry that one of them ran his lawnmower into my yard and repeatedly ran it back and forth along my house for 20 minutes to teach me a lesson.
