I have a picture of a me sitting on my Grandfathers 1950 Ford tractor. Bringing the old stuff to life is great. That tractor can easily be going another 73 years from now. These were obviously made before someone figured things shouldn’t be made to last. The sound of these always makes me smile.

If I remember right the hood is hinged at the front down by the rad. Under some bolts on the dash and you have quick access to the top of the engine and water hoses/pump. Nice job. Does this one have the 2 range transmission?

Just the standard 4 speed, no auxiliary.

Mostly from the muffler being soaked with trans oil. Not really coming from the engine.
