It does not take much brain capacity to work out that you, sir, have a thing for corvettes :) I love original cars and to see them preserved and taken care of. I have a soft spot for the C3s but I am way to afraid of the galss fibre to ever buy one. This will be another fantastic project to follow and I will be enjoying every minute of it.

Will be a blast to follow you and your journey with what seems to be an awesome find! Congrats to your Vette C3 Brian! If I would give you a tip to use until you switch them or if they are good to use. It's the rubber seals in all of the parts where you can opening them as the doors and hood and trunk lid. That's to fast get them clean and do 1 or more treatment with the 303 Rubber Seal Protectant. This is a magic product to restore them and make them soft again. It ups the ability to keep water and moist out of the car and also reduce the wind noise from them a lot. Maybe you already know this. Otherwise I recommend you to try it out and see how you like it. It's also great on new or the vehicals you drive in the winter when the rubber seals can get wet and freezing so you don't get into the vehical LOL. The 303 Rubber Seal Protectant is an awesome product to reduce that risk to almost a non risk of it to happen. Also maybe a gentle clean on the other rubber seals and bushings. And maybe treat them with the 303 Aerospace Protectant. It's something in the 303 that restores rubber in an impresive way. These things are also something that is known to dry out on vehicals stored for a long long time. And when you start to use them again they fail many times or gets very worn very fast. Engines and the gear box rubber bushings and also on the suspension and also all of the rubber tubes in the engine compartment. Basicly where you have rubber the 303 can save them many times or gets them to not be worn so fast as if left untreated. Will be interesting to follow your project!

My first car was a 1974 corvette. 454 w/TH400. The original engine was gone and had a truck 454 in its place. My dad and I did about a 90% resto on it as it needed some odds and ends but was good enough for us. I want to say dad bought it late 1980’s and we sold it in 1998 or so before I went to college. Kinda want to get another one. Can’t wait to watch this restoration!

I love this kind of video Brian. Usually videos of people finding vehicles that been found in barns, garages or even containers just show the find and then what it looks like after it's finished. Step by step of the wash and restorations are going to incredible. You're always very thorough with your process and how you narrate through. Awesome start. Thanks Brian nice find!

This is going to be great. The 2 cars I lusted after as a kid were the '71 Cuda and the C3 Corvette Stingrays with sidepipes. I grew up in a GTO so my eyes wandered. I almost bought one a few years back but decided on a Formula Liberator instead :)

I have a 1971 Corvette 350 4 speed that i got from the first owner back in 1985. It has always been garaged but i have not driven it since maybe 2001, I think I may have to take the cover off it and try and get it running again after watching this video. Cant wait to see the rest of the videos to get my motivation back into this Corvette! P.S. it has 85,422 original miles on it.
