I LOVE the Edsel . I can never figure out why so many people think them ugly . The Speedo alone is a work of art . Here in the UK we never see them . If I had lived in America at the time they were made I would have bought one in a heartbeat . I hope that one gets restored . Even in that condition it still looks beautiful to me .

For God's sake-use some starting fluid! I love how all of these KZbinrs grind and grind on these poor starters. A dry engine like that takes a hell of a lot more gas than them tiny little dribbles that you are giving it. And hold the throttle open while trying to start it. I could of had that fricking thing running in 15 seconds. If it don't fire in a few revelutions don't keep grinding. Won't watch anymore of your videos.

Everyone seems to pump the gas repeatedly when starting a cold engine. If the accelerator pump is working, that adds fuel and enriches the air/fuel ratio, a desirable condition for cold starts. (If the engine hasn't run since yesterday, it's cold.) Carburetors are equipped with another means of enriching the A/F ratio. When closed, it restricts the flow of air through the venturi(s), so, less air, richer mixture. When open, it doesn't. It's the Choke. I see video after video of batteries being drained and starters being abused, while they try to start a cold engine with the choke wide open.

You'll probably got a numbers matching engine under the hood and you're going to change it😮 I guess so. Nothing to lubricate the cylinders or the valves just start cranking on it after being shut off for years and years. Pumping fuel into it till it's hydrolocked revving the crap out of it before it's even gone through a heat cycle then putting May pops on it and the worst ones in the back so it can rip the rip up the rear fenders when they shred. I think this is enough of this video for me. I'm going to go back to the world of common sense
