I've been watching, Will it Start, Restoration Channels for 4-5 years. VGG, Sleeperdude, Mortske Garage, and several others. I've only discovered your channel recently and I have to say I love your points of difference and the level of restorations you and your Dad tackle. My brother owned one of these Fairlanes many years ago so I particularly enjoyed this build.

I have always enjoyed watching you and your Dad rescuing these old beautiful relics. There's an old 62 - 63 Ford near here with 30 some thousand miles on it. It came out of New York and is a true survivor but has been sitting out side since it was brought to North Carolina!

Love your work guys! I'd have kept part of the covers that cream colour for a two tone finish and used roofing tape as a sound deadening material as it comes sticky on a roll and is very cheap in the UK. You did an amazing job on the headliner!!!! Keep up the outstanding work!!

Thank you for taking us along vicariously on this fun journey to save this old Fairlane. Unlikely there'd be very many collectors who would have laid out the cash required to do a full restoration. The fact that you did it on a budget and plan to use it as a daily driver is the best of both worlds. You can actually enjoy ownership and younger folks get to see and ask questions about the world as it used to be. What you have accomplished is an inspiration.

I had a 1962 Ford Fairlane, maroon, 221 v8, three on the tree. It is long gone, but it is still one of my most favorite cars. A wonderful car for touring, and as you kept saying "small". If I still had mine it would have a 302 sitting in it. My 221 died and i replaced it with a 260.

Very proud of how much you have grown up since I started watching this channel a good amount of time ago.. years pass quickly for us old guys and there laid the problem.. I forget that I was young and most reckless in how I went about driving, fixing, and just in general a little turd attitude.. I am speaking about myself to clear up any confusion about name calling. You and your family really have taken a lot of steps to grow to great content plus now taking on tough challenges. I of course refer to doing headliners, installing glass that could take some time to find and replace with as good again. I sure wish the internet, amazon, and many other sources of parts, and even tools we work with today had been available in the late fifties when I started fixing up hot rods. I am going to stop here with this comment as they get soooo long/LOL
