This car is the best candidate I've ever seen for "dip and see what's left of it"!

As I watch this series, I love the abandon with which you cut and chop pieces off the car. I know that a lot of thought has gone into the process, yet you make it lok so "easy".

Hi Dom, about the colour, it could be Lago Green Metallic (#5605) Fjord Green (#5705) Aquamarin Blue Metallic (#5607) or Acquamarin Blue (#5707). During 1957 these colours changed, so you'll have to look at the paint numbers from Porsche. Loving all the work on the 356, greetings from the Netherlands!!!

I believe it to be the Aquamarine blue 5707, the non metallic version. Lovely colour.

I am just starting to get comfortable with the idea of minor, non-structural sheet metal repair and bodywork. This is at once: incredible to watch, beyond brave, exciting, scary and...simply herculean in scope! Congrats to you! Love watching, love learning and kudos as if I had to to this, I'd be dropping a curse word ever 2 seconds.

Your enthusiasm is contagious, Dom! I love watching you analyze each move before you procede to cut off each rusty piece. I've had three rusty old 356s. I started with a 1955 coupe that was basically all rusted away. Even here in San Francisco, California body rot sometimes takes over. I got rid of it rather than repair it like you're doing. Now I wish I hadn't been so hasty in abandoning the project. I did get further with a 1960 356B Sunroof coupe and a 1954 356 Cabriolet though. Your combo of Auratium Green paint and tan interior will be gorgeous! I've subscribed and will be eagerly watching over your shoulder.

Epic! Dom, some food for thought. With that beautiful English Wheel why not make exterior door panels, hood and deck lid in aluminum? Carrera style, make a couple sets and you pay for the restoration. Follow it up with building some wooden framed Speedster seats and wow a super unique storied car. Of course I was prompted by yesterday's Porsche gathering in Marin when I saw the #3 Carrera Speedster ever built. And by the way it's a hard core driver that is out and about driven on the roads in NorCal minus the 4 cam motor. None the less a stunner!
