"Barn Find" Simplicity Landlord Garden Tractor Lives! Startup and Test Drive!

So, by a miracle, after messing around with some wiring, throwing a battery and gas in, it actually started. I have no idea how long it's been since it last fired but I bought it sight unseen and picked it up knowing only that the guy said it ran last time it was started.....haha. It's running choppy though and I need to take a better look at it. Stay tuned folks! This is a great unit, and I can't wait to see what it can do. Thanks for watching!

Very cool old tractor. I think it's a small miracle that it fired up and ran after sitting for years with stale old gas.

Might be easier to install battery if you turn the steering wheel to line it up.

The strange thing is the discharge opening is on left side instead of the right side

oh ok was just wondering .i love old machines myself.i still have an old 1968 case tractor with kholer 12 hp engine that still runs great .had to rebuilt trans mission that's about it .thanks for the quick reply@@skywatcherranchswr

@marionboucher3155 I love messing around with old equipment. I will attempt to fix things I don't know anything about, sometimes I'm successful and sometimes I'm not. I'm really impatient so I could never be a mechanic.
