Barn Find Suzuki Savage S40 becomes a GORGEOUS Blue Collar Bobber

I always wanted a bobber. Not a 250cc Chinese El Cheapo; not a zillion-dollar Trailer Queen.
I found an old Suzuki Savage S40 for $1,500; I ordered $1,300 worth of parts from Blue Collar Bobbers, and set about building my own one-off thumper.
Poor Man's Motorcycle Club is my KZbin channel, where I hope to communicate with those who love cheap, cool scoots.

Bike looks lovely 😊 I’d like to do a bobber on one of these, I’ve already thought about how I’d have it but I’ve already got three bikes and I’m running out of space but funny enough I always seem to find a little bit of room 😹. Ride safe and enjoy ya ride 👍

I had to build a 10x20 barn in the back yard, and sell 6 bikes to fit them all inside, the single car garage wasn't enough!

Hey, thanks. I ordered the tires out of a catalog at my mechanics. The rear was a real problem. I found the look I wanted but we had to modify the swing arm and rear fender to fit the fat tire. It’s still rubs a little, and I’m thinking of trying to look for a slightly smaller tire.

Same kit and all. I just put a straight pipe. In a few years I want to put a suicide shifter on it. You think that’s possible?
