I can't make a video like this because my B&N doesn't have a movie section. It has a rack of CDs where the top 3 slots are Blu-rays/DVDs. *I have to order them from the website* . So if I made a video, it would be 1 minute long and consist of me running into the store, looking at the rack and saying "already got it" and then leaving.

@@maplestreetmovies You can still find the last few copies on ebay for about $150. That makes it $6 per movie as there are 25 movies. They are remarkable films with choreographed fight scenes. They were made in the 60's and early 70's, and has a lot of Kurosawa actors in it. I also recommend a criterion films called Sword of Doom and the Samurai Trilogy.

I had to limit myself to 6 this sale so I didn’t go broke. I got Dazed and Confused, The Player, Night of the Hunter, Silence of the Lambs, Mulholland Dr, and House. I also picked up Brazil and Night of the Living Dead but I returned them because I was never gonna have time to watch them until next sale

Thanks for watching! Just watched your Criterion Haul and you had some great pick ups too! I totally get the trouble with dropping $20, they are definitely expensive, but the way I look at it is you know you're getting a great movie, there are loads of great supplements, the quality is amazing, etc. I look at Criterions as the Vinyls of blu-ray collecting :D Plus Jackson and I saved up for this one for months haha.

Wow, you guys are Criterion enthusiasts! Because of cost (even though you get an excellent product), I have just 6 Criterions in my collection, 3 of them Hitchcock, The Man Who Knew Too Much (1934) The 39 Steps (1935) The Lady Vanishes (1938) On The Waterfront (1954) A Night to Remember (1958) and Anatomy of a Murder (1959). I would love to eventually get more, especially Cary Grant, James Stewart movies. Also 12 angry men, Dr. Strangelove, and Red River.

Travis Taylor you’ve got a great collection! Yes, I show off a lot, but I’ve always been more interested in quality over quantity. If I see a criterion that I bought and I don’t like it, I’ll straight up sell it. I think your small collection is awesome and is only growing! Thanks for watching!

1:52 I rewatched that part because it was too funny! Eraserhead was the first movie I remember watching and being like "What the fuck did I just watch?" ...Cut to five years later and Twin Peaks is like my favorite thing; I'm obsessed! The artist of the cover art for The Earrings of Madame de... is David Downton and I love his art and style. It's the reason I got Belle De Jour, which instantly became a favorite film of mine. And still is. Blind buys are the best! Little expectation is the way to see a film for the first time. That's pretty much how my favorite film became my favorite film. Which is Plein Soleil/Purple Noon. It's on Criterion :)
