Well Ben thanks for saying it was a well planned day out, which I messed up really early afternoon, but I well agree it turned out OK in the end with use doing a lot of talking, and didn't miss anything while doing that. Far better variety on this than most other recent Barnetby videos I’ve seen which just have a constant stream of 66s on Biomass / Coal and very little else. I used to go trainspotting at Barnetby in the early 2000s. I now just occasionally watch videos to see what its like now. Although its definitely not as busy or varied here as it was when I used to go

Yes its a very good area for freight trains in and out of Immingham docks Clive, but nowhere as good as it was in 80s and 90s when I first went there. Cheers Mike.

Dumb question probably! But if you ever hear a train that has clearly got a massive flat spot somewhere do you try to report it? As isn't that issue what caused the major Carlisle derailment recently?

The simple answer to your question David is no, there are so many wagons with flats there wouldn't be any trains running if they were stopped for repair.
