Great video Steve, a joy to watch. I especially liked your restrained use of pan and zoom which gives a feeling of depth, perspective and anticipation.

Great video can you recommend the best day to go to get the most freight action?

What an amazing record of this last Bastille of Semaphore Signals Steve....a Mecca for Freight workings, and so many 60's as well. If you were using the Rode mic, then I feel there may be something not right with it, This mic should pic up the slightest sounds at half a mile away, and lock onto the train sounds over any other residual sounds. Your on board mic, should give equal sound quality in stereo, but not for the distant shots. Both options, should be giving a higher audio level than you appear to be having.I hope you can sort matters out soon Steve, as you have superb pieces of equipments...Best wishes...Bob
