Kind of a cool concept. I have been squirrel hunting with pistol crossbows for 20 years. The Cobra system does a heck of a job on them. With that being said, I've never used this version so I may have to just give it a shot. I'm an avid squirrel hunter so the Cobra system stays with me at all times in the truck. Great video!

I would definitely recommend the pro version if you intend to use for squirrels! Tri fin fletchings and 50 more fps. Best of luck out there!

This could be a good small game hunting crossbow (rabbit and squirrel), especially if stiffer bolts can be sourced or made.

@ one of my subscribers just ordered me the Demun Accu strike pro. The one with a red dot and 210FPS so I’ll do a video on it. Supposedly you can put actual broad heads on it 🤷🏼‍♂️ we will see

I was looking at this as not a hunting bow but for some reason a home defense kinda style, not a big gun fan, rather use bow or crossbow if i had to for hunting

i happen to repair and make arrows . first thing i would do is get some arrows and cut them down and 2 fletch you some carbon arrows , at about 7 inches , you will produce some very rigid strong little bolts . it comes in two styles , this 3 shot is the tri strike , but the more powerful unit , its big brother fires single arrows like a traditional crossbow , its called the acustrike pro , it shoots 7 inch bolts at a faster 210 fps . because it is loaded one at a time , they use the traditional 3 fletch system . i believe it comes with the more powerful 80 lb limb !!! . i wonder if this limb could be installed on the tri-strike ? . another feature , it also has room to shoot bolts with more productive broadheads instead of just the common practice point ! . this tri strike claims it fires bolts at 180 fps , dunno , being it has just a 50lb limb lol . i would love the option to put a a more powerful bow limb on it , would n't that be nice !!!

I mean the mini cross bow is shooting at recurve bow speed so 20 yards and under you can kill a deer.

Not sure if it has the energy to make it happen the same way a recurve does. I'm sure that at reaaal close range it might have a chance. Further testing required!

Do you have any accuracy problems due to the bolts being twisted?

Yeah, the bolts themselves I would say are the biggest drawback on this little guy. They will bend even slightly and throw off the shot dramatically!

I own one was an impulse buy but now that they are trying to push the dior bags out off the web this and my wrist rocket that shoots 1/2 ounce ball bearings straight thru plywood might be my last stand items as the space slugs slide down my basement stairs cause we're all going to run out of ammo after the 1st wave 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Yeah I don’t think I’d put the Demun in the precision class lol, it’s a fun little Xbow for backyard plinking but with the flexible bolts it is next to impossible to keep good groupings!
