Great video!! What happened at Emsworth though? you over ran your no. 3 stop. As it sounded like you were on a 313 which is usually a 3 car!!

Not guilty, I was just the cameraman on this trip. However, Emsworth can be a bit tricky in that the station rushes up on you at the last second, so it's important to get an early grip on stopping there. Add a twist of damp weather and the 1st generation wheel slip protection makes for interesting stopping.

Oh well!! I've got on a few times at Emsworth and once the driver forgot to stop i think and his rear 2 coaches were where it say 8/12 car stop. and it was only a 3 car 313

Does it ever get stressful in the cab? As a driver you don’t seem to have backup if you need advice or help - most other professions you have a team of people around you.

Your training helps to manage stress, but generally the job is 99% ok to handle unless something goes wrong and Joe Public kicks off. Then it can be stressful.
