As good a team as Barnsley have had since the late 90s. You have to remember that they had sold Alfie Mawson since going up the season before, and still got to 8th by the January window before selling off the family silver. I've said several times, if the Crynes could have somehow kept that squad together for the entire season, added to them with 1 or 2 clever signings such as the lad from Leicester that they got on loan, they might be in a very different place right now. Might have managed to sneak into the Premier League, and then with that money and two or three years parachute money, who knows where this club might be now. I doubt they'd be struggling to get results against Exeter City at Oakwell, that's for sure.
