The Mon Calamari is a "she", Ibtisam, and there IS a figure of her, from another Rogue Squadron Comic Pack, the last and Internet exclusive wave. These are all characters from the X-wing Rogue Squadron Comics and novels, not directly associated with the X-wing PC game or Rogue Squadron Nintendo games. Also, always two they are: there IS another Baron Fel figure, in dress uniform, from another Rogue Squadron Comic Pack. You should definitely check out the Comics in actual order, or at least, the In the Empire's Service 4-issue story arc, plus the Making of Baron Fel one shot...

Good trilogy books I got back in the early 90s after seeing them in the USA at the shopping mall in Orlando in 92 got mine in the UK had a choice of hardback or paper back versions

I never read the X-Wing comics much, but I did have one, which had an awesome cover of Baron Fel on it. Peak Star Wars fandom for me, after the SEs, but before the prequels. I was just the right age. Thrawn Trilogy is the same thing for me. A pretty good series, I re-read it every few years, but it's more about that time. That series set the standard for the EU stuff, and that EU stuff was the only new Star Wars we were getting until the end of the 90s. A more civilised age? No... well, maybe only in some ways. Fun memories, though! One of the reasons why I like Andor is because it reminds me of some of the better EU.

Nice review OOK. I like this two-pack. The Hobbie figure is a standard x-wing flight suite but I customized my Hobbie with a Hoth pilot body and the black boots as seen in the rebel base with princess Leia.

The classic Legacy 2-packs!! There were some great concepts & actually some great figures. Alas, most of them were kit-bashes & repaints. A lot of them were also poorly articulated & some even had no elbow or knee articulation. The quality was a bit spotty at times, too. There sure were some gems, though. I think I have at least two of these. That Baron Fel was supposed to be the leader of the 181st squadron, An elite TIE Interecptor wing that had the red stripe through the wings, hence the stripe on his uniform. Even the pilots of said squadron had the stripes. Hobbie Klivian? Wasn't he the one that hi-jacked that TIE fighter, then painted the Rebel insignia on both the wings? Yeah, I know, Sabine copied him. He did it, in Legends first! Lol

@@OnlyOneKenobi I just verified it. Hasbro released the Ecliptic Evader TIE fighter in the Legacy Collection 2008, blue & white box. I believe it was a Target exclusive in the US. It was a story arc from the X-Wing Rogue Squadron series, I think.

Cool pilots collection. The only Hobbie I have is in that Legacy line with him in a Tie pilot uniform and with a stolen tie fighter with the Rebel Alliance emblem painted on the wing.

That's a nice boxset of the Thrawn trilogy. I have the original versions of the Thrawn trilogy before they were released in that Legends banner. But I have been buying a lot of Legends books under that banner recently including the Darth Bane trilogy. Still a lot to collect and so little space for it all on top of other books and comics from other properties I'm into as well as movies. Anyway like I've said before comic packs were a way to get retools and repacks but also release new characters and really it's still the only time a lot of EU characters have been released and this rate they'll be the only time given there's so many main characters still yet to be released let alone from niche corners of the franchise like this. They really could do with bringing them pack as Legends comic packs and Canon comic packs because there's enough material in both to draw from. Anyway I think that's it for now but knowing me I've forgotten some stuff. Looking forward to the next review.
