I was a line cook/prep cook for Shoneys for about 6 years...I knew the problems with the kitchen not being cleaned properly. The health board gave our store a B My boss Jack promoted me from line/prep cook to kitchen manager. The first week...I shut the whole kitchen down(Jack wasn't happy) and lead a team of 15 people in scrubbing the kitchen,cooler and freezer. I spent about $2,000 just on bleach and close to the same amount on payroll. When the local health board inspector came to inspect again he said " If there was a highr grade than A...I'd give it to you,because I remember giving your store a B"
