Couple things with the mineral. Deer don’t like minerals when they’re hot so they’ll hit them harder at night when it’s cooler if you have it exposed to the sun. The one in the trees gets more shade and stays cooler for them. Also, use trace mineral salt and trace mineral salt blocks. They absolutely love trace minerals

Also this guy is kind of a clown, a standard FMJ is not going to make it all the way through the truck and engine block. There are rounds that will be you are not shooting those. He also does know how to use a safety and had you adjusting your scope after 1 shot instead of 3 shot groups.

Try trace mineral, feedphos (dicalcium phosphate) and dried molasses. That’s what we use at our deer ranch. You don’t have to use the molasses but they seem to consume it a whole lot quicker with it mixed in
