I'm 23 now, but my sophomore year of high school, we once had to be escorted out by police after a lockdown due to an active shooting on school grounds. Our high school also had bullet holes in the windows. I used to think it was just the area we lived in at the time (which was crime prone), but as I get older, I'm seeing this issue become more widespread. It's terrifying. I went to public school, but when I have kids of my own, there's no way in HELL they're going to public school. Not only is the quality of education deteriorating exponentially over time, but now schools feel like massive targets for violence. Not a risk I'm comfortable with taking. Not for my family.

The cops that responded were absolutely terrific!! But what is with having doors in schools that are made up of varying amounts of glass?? When I was watching the Parkland school shooting trial, one student testified that the shooter broke out the glass in her classroom door and stuck his long gun through that space and just started firing. Now the door just shown in this video was mostly glass and one section was kicked or shot out!!! GLASS DOORS IN SCHOOLS = BAD IDEA.
@xaviercast9702 жыл бұрын
That is just TARD, Every school needs its doors replaced without any glass panels...period!

@Kelly Campbell that make no sense, because how are these people are going to be aware with what is going on around them. They need a video or clip to see what happen and what needs to be done around here. That is what the media is for, atleast they putting it to good use.

So the next school shooter can see how he can also be famous? The problem with this kind of extensive news coverage is it makes the shooter famous. Which is exactly what they want because before the shootings they are anonymous losers. How many victims of Columbine can you name off the top of your head? But I bet you can name atleast one of the shooters!
