Big question Barry ... do you think the 1.0 ecoboost engine needs it's timing belt changing at 100,000 miles / 10 years. When the engine was launched, it was sold as a 'life of the engine' belt, but Ford later retracted this and put on the recommendation. I'm interested what the trade thinks because it's such a big job to change it (main agent over a grand, apparently over 8 hours work!). Mark

I would think its better to be on the safe side, i think theres a few products that set out as lifetime but have been reevaluated since,
