I wish you were in florida to design a cooling system for my house granted it’s only 950 sq ft and single level but your team definitely is one of the few honest companies I would trust to design and install for my house

Well, that was insanely kind of you to say, THANK YOU!

So you don't do dedicated outside units for each inside head to save installation/equipment cost?
@woox200sx6 ай бұрын
6 years later, is the unit still running without issues? Any problems with the PCB boards in the Daikin?
@jimdevilbiss91254 жыл бұрын
These units are much closer to the ceiling than what was stated on my installation Dinkin units.

When you make the long runs to your head units how much do you lose with regards efficiency?
@davidcoffman93265 жыл бұрын
Does each room need to have it's own unit or can you achieve the same cooling affect with a ducted mini split then put a few cassettes in the living room and kitchen/ family rooms. Curious about the humidity levels with an over/under sized unit for a room

5:59, I'm enthusiastic about air conditioners, so I would easily notice it whereas others wouldn't notice the AC

Hey how did you manage the condensate from the unit that had the linset running through the pantry? I assume pumps but was very interested to know what you do for inside walls. Thanks
@TheDiskinsDoEverything4 жыл бұрын
Actually, lines and condensate run down to crawl/and out in speedi channel on the wall in the pantry behind the head

Maybe I missed it but there was mention of the original monthly electricity bill of 500/600 dollars, but no mention of running costs to heat now.
@TheDiskinsDoEverything5 жыл бұрын
They reported back a bill of $115 per month to heat last winter.
@rickydavis55415 жыл бұрын
Ya $500 or $600 is a lot of money for electricity they made them so eco friendly and way cheaper than the old school furnaces and messy wood stove

I'm looking to do a three head system in my house. How would you manage to heat/cool the bathrooms? Do you just leave the doors open and let it migrate? Thanks!
@TheDiskinsDoEverything6 жыл бұрын
Mark Woodworth There is a little of that. Some people install heated floor, wall heater or bathfan with heat bulb.
@TheDiskinsDoEverything6 жыл бұрын
Little of both. Bathrooms are usually heated floor, fan with light, space heater, etc.
@sanchezbm855 жыл бұрын
Could you control all units with a single control like a traditional ac system?
@hijinks215 жыл бұрын
Depends on the head units but most have wifi and phone apps these days. Some work with nest or ecobee also

It looks like you're a Daikin guy, but how do these compare to Fujitsu?
@TheDiskinsDoEverything6 жыл бұрын
Ductless is Ductless at some point. Daikin just has better distribution and support here. Nothing wrong with a fuji.
