Alright HARDOCP, you're the best!!! I had just requested on you're last video (pretty cool that you mentioned that in this video, btw) that I wanted you to look at this block, and you replied that you would.....and you came through!!!! Can't wait to see the review on the website as I'd really like to team this block up with the Gigabyte Designaire X399 since they have similar aesthetics, but if you don't put your stamp of approval on it, I'll be going with the Watercool Heatkiller block

XSPC or Heatkiller are tops right now, and I do not see this block doing better in performance, but testing will find that out. Hopefully next week.

Hi Kyle...To remove the aluminum cover you need to use the screwdriver and separate it at the slot where the wiring is.

Roger that. And many thanks for the sample!!!!

I got one of these and connect it to the fan pin but the LCD dont come on. I wanted to test it before fitting it on the CPU.

That block looks massive! Yikes! Aluminum hold down screws? I look forward to seeing the results. You have a great day Kyle!

Looks awesome, but i have a feeling that the performance won't be there. Shame as I love Barrow fittings

Looking forward to seeing it in action

Woah, can u compare with EK, Corsair, or thermaltake ?

My barrow Intel Energy block (round one, with black edge, and rgb, clear front) goes upto 60C on an i5 8400 under full load. You could pay 2 or 3 times as much, and maybe only get a few degrees off. I think this block would perform about the same as mine as the interior looks the same pretty much, except its for threadripper.

Kyle, will there ever be a review of its performance?
@HardOCPTV6 жыл бұрын
Yes, all the work is done, need to write it up and make the graphs, should be this week.

Is that sensor checking liquid temperature on outlet?
@HardOCPTV6 жыл бұрын
No, the sensor is not an outlet. It measures temp of the coolant after it has been circulated across the micro-fins.
