Barry Kerch - Shinedown - Tour Kit Rundown

In late 2023, Shinedown drummer Barry Kerch invited Modern Drummer to hang out backstage and gather the details on his custom Pearl Masters Maple/Gum kit, complete with a touching tribute to the late Dom Famularo, who passed away just a few days before the filming of this video. As a student and friend of Dom's, Barry credits him for saving his drumming career by addressing his carpal tunnel issues. Enjoy!

"FOR DOM" Is sooooo awesome!!! I was a student of his since 1984. He was the reason I got connected with TAMA, and given the fortunate opportunity to open a few of his drum clinics. Life changing for sure!!!
