Al's work on A Different Kind of Truth is criminally underrated, but everything he recorded was spectacular. Swing for days, with a pocket deeper than Elon.

I'm surprised Big Al used a double kick pedal instead of two singles?? The use of one obviously simplifies tuning since his tech (John Douglas) only had to replace/tune the head from one kick drum vs two.Now I'm gonna have to go search through all his tour kits to see which ones he used a double kick pedal on.

He looks healthy and younger💪🔥 and that skalp pigmentation looks good.

Being as good as he is and so kind and humble just shows that not only is he a fantastic drummer but a great person as well. Will always be a fan
