The first time I saw Barry Lyndon was in Tokyo when I was 20. It was this movie that introduced me to the wonders of classical music, even though I had only listened to rock music until then. Thank you Kubrick❣️

It is the most romantically, beautifully, tragically, dispassionate film ever made.

Barry Lyndon is probably my most favorite film. Stanley Kubrick was a true genius.

This is THE version. Händel's version is for solo keyboard. This one has been blown up for the movie. And very well done, too!

Came back to this because a soundtrack in Zardos reminded me of it. Sounds very much the same.

One might as well have no legs at all, if one looses just one leg.
