Grease was such a great movie, and Barry Pearl as Doody had a terrific energy. Love to see an interview here with one of the Pink Ladies. Barry’s stories are brilliant! As Bob Hope said: thanks for the memories! 🙏

Thank you so much to Barry Pearl and Craig for an enlightening and nostalgic interview complete with behind-the-scenes photos, production stills and original costumes. "Grease" is one of the first movies I remember seeing as a kid and I love it to this day. Scenes from it are always playing somewhere in the recesses of my mind, or I'm actively thinking about it and sometimes bursting into song. It warms the cockles of my heart that the cast remain[ed] close and appear[ed] together at events I had no idea were happening all these years. Barry is a joy and Craig is, as always, charming and well prepared. Thanks again, Lads!

Haha, its funny what you don’t notice. Love Grease, and the music is so pivotal. Just hunted up Greased Lightnin on KZbin, and yes, the lyrics from the movie with John Travolta singing are explicit. Loved the song, bop along to it, but just didn’t notice the exact words. New appreciation for Barry Pearl. He’s like the keeper of the Grease legacy. Sent this to a friend in Sydney, Australia to go see him in Snow White. And Cliff Richards is in it! Wow. ❤

Loved this! Barry was great in Grease, appreciate that he keeps that wonderful movie’s legacy alive. Just hunted up the lyrics to Greased Lightnin’ and I had no idea!!! Yep, racy and explicit. Must check out other things Barry has starred in. Great energy, such a charmer. Like Barry, love vanilla slices. Have an Aussie friend here in Seattle and she makes them with passionfruit frosting!!💕⭐️

What a tremendous interview. Loved Barry as Doody in Grease, and his stories are terrific. Wish I were in Australia to see him in Snow White. Will it be televised? Thanks Craig for another truly wonderful conversation 🙏🎉

Craig Bennett does the best interviews ever-ah! This came up on my Celebrity Drop feed and could stop watching. Brilliant conversation. Love the original Grease on Broadway, the movie of course. Barry was a great fit as Doody. Love hearing about his costars. Eve Arden and Joan Blondell were greats. The Sha Na Na’s. Frankie Avalon. Many thanks for this. Great music memories.

Barry looks great. Just checked his age, he’s 74. Thanks Craig and Kellie for another awesome interview. This channel is such a gem. Didn’t realise Annette Charles had died. A lovely dancer. Loved her as Cha-Cha in Grease. Really sweet memories. Thanks Craig for paying respects to the legends in Grease like Joan Blondell, Eve Arden and Frankie Avalon. Hey! Please interview Frankie! Thanks Barry Pearl for such swell memories 👍😊🌼

It is hard to explain to younger people : Summer 1978 was "GREASE SUMMER" . You'd go to the mall and it was filled with Grease posters , T-shirts , buttons, records and the classic GREASE "Photo Novel". It was the entire movie , frame by frame in a full color paperback book . Disco was also HUGE. Donna Summer and Abba music filled the air. The one thing that was pretty cruel was that the SOUNDTRACK was UNFAIRLY bloated up to a double LP- which was about $12.99 . $12.99 to a 11 year old was like ...$100.00 . LOL. And many of us were not old enough to work. But my main point is: you could have had the record a SINGLE ALBUM for $5.99 or so and ALL the best songs would have FIT ! Who the hell needed to hear She Na Na and some boring instrumentals . And who the hell is Cindy Bullens ? They really made kids hand over weeks and weeks of allowance to own She Na Na. I am happy to have lived thru that era .

Shows Barry’s a man of decency, by not hollering for a racist money grubbing flat earther crook and bigot.
