Aren't we lucky to have been able to have lived durring a time where real, truly talented singers & songwriters actually sang beautifully w/o auto tune, w/o the need for a ghost writer, (ascap,) and didn't need to steal musical parts from another artists song. (E.G. vanilla ice claming HE came up with the song 'ice ice baby that was ripped off from the song Under Pressure written by Freddie Mercury & David Bowie. Btw, there r currently 4 Bee Gee's songs being used in commercials in 2020. (Songs written 50+ years ago.) Great songs will never die!

I remember watching a programme where Barry said at the time of Robins death they were estranged and he had so many regrets about that.

Barry came to know that only a few weeks before Robin died, just in time to spend a few hours beside him, lying in coma. Barry sang a song to him, probably Robin did not hear anything, we'll never know.. That was devastating for Barry but it was too late. He has to live on with his regrets 😢

They were excellent but they didn`t have the same cultural impact as The Beatles. The Beatles were simply the first, musically and in fashion to bring the world, kicking and screaming into the modern age, many others , some better or worse followed them but no other can be the first. They were like a first kiss, you might have many better afterwards but you will never forget your first. The Bee Gees have their place in musical history and it`s a large and respectable one but no one in pop history will ever be greater than the Beatles and I doubt that any of them would even claim to be.

The Beatles were the leading edge of the British invasion which led to the birth of rock music. America produced blues then rock n roll. The Brits went from blues straight into rock. The Beatles did that not the BGs.

This was indeed sad, but I have to say that the end brought a small smile to my face (which only made the whole thing more moving). When Robin and Barry stopped, and Robin waves his arm and said (about the camera man, who was filming from a distance), 'what are they doing? hey, you have to come over here!' (I think that's what it was anyway). I mean, the camera man seemed to be respecting their privacy as they recollected together, but they were like 'hey, are you filming this or what?'. It made me smile despite the lump in my throat.

I'm so glad that I got to see the brothers together several times in concert and meet them backstage at the Aladdin in Las Vegas on the ONE Tour in '89. Maurice turned around and looked right into my face with his big Cheshire Cat grin.😁 I could hear Barry's voice above me saying, "You going to get your picture took?" (I wanted to reply but I think I was busy swallowing my tongue at the time.)💜 Barry was good enough to sign my Now Voyager movie tape. In this video, Robin was already looking so thin - more than usual. Robin had such a unique voice, and Barry does as well. Are the parents ( Hugh and Barbara), also buried at this same cemetary? The BeeGees live in my heart - for as long as I shall live and love.

I liked the Beatles as they were my era as I was about 16yrs when they came out, but so were The Bee Gees who came out in '67. The Bee Gees were much better singers than the Beatles I think, though I liked The Beatles voices too. You couldn't go past Robin's beautiful vibrato voice, the Beatles certainly didn't have that.

Yeah , it does look like Southern Cemetery in South Manchester , which is about a mile or so from their old Keppel road home , and about three miles from where i''m living.... i don't think they were actually visiting anyone , they were probably just out revisiting some of their childhood memories/spots in the Chorlton area at the time that they returned to Manchester to buy back their old home back in 2002., Barry apparently paid £160k for it.... but as far as I know the ONLY member of the Bee Gee family ( including their parents) actually BURIED in England is Robyn , who's death in London occured in 2012 , and whos grave lies in Thame, Oxfordshire ....... and even though Andy Gibb died in 1988 in Oxford , England , he was finally laid to rest in Los Angeles, America. Just a fantastic group who stood the test of time over several decades ... I gotta get a message to you , Morning of my life , Massachussetts , so many great memories of their days together.

Never heard that, I obviously wouldn't walk through the fl8wers and things on someones grave. But I always pretty much stand on my mothers grave when I visit her.

Yes Hindus too !I say a prayer each time i visit my late parents graves Just incase i step over fresh ones its their resting place and i dont want some spirits to be disturbed !!🙏
