Do you think these choices could fit the part? Vincent D'Onofrio (Full Metal Jacket, Jurassic World) for either "Doublecrossed" or "Narcos". Eric Edelstein (Jurassic World) for "Narcos". Brendan Fraser for "American Made". No offense to them, but they do fit the description.

I pass by the spot he was ACTUALLY killed at, right here in Baton Rouge at the YMCA on Airline hwy. I never met the guy, and I'm 41 now, but when I was a lil kid, my mom and her friends partied with him and did business. They told me he used to fly over and drop the bales directly from the plane and they'd have to go find em on the ground, and every now and then they'd be waiting in a boat on the water and he'd drop it close to them. They said he was a kickass pilot and could place a package within 40 yards of ya. I remember my mom being upset when he was killed. Now.... what I got out of all that is: NO SNITCHIN' !!@#🐀

I went to LSU and around 95 or so went for the first time to that Salvation Army store I parked in the spot directly in front of the spot where Barry was shot. At that time I had no idea whatsoever of the history of him or anything about him. But I had the feeling that something was definitely wrong with the place and I've never forgotten the bizarre notions I had there. Fast forward many years, the internet exists and I learn about Barry seal Baton Rouge and the Clinton connection in Mena around 2017? I then come across the image of the parking lot of that Salvation Army and I knew instantly where it was on airline and It all bade sense why I had the strange reaction all those years previously there.

The Infiltrator went full blow fiction with their portrayal. He wasn't driving at the time, he was parked and he wasn't with anyone. The guy didn't shoot him while on a bike, and his car definitely didn't go flying through the air on some Fast and Furious shit. You can actually see the real Barry Seal crime scene photos online by just googling them.

You are correct... 2 amigos got him in the parking lot... it was a community service gig. One of them had a mac-10 and sprayed him.. left him slump.

@@timlowe225 Yup, you are right it was a parking lot. It was actually the parking lot of a halfway house which Seal was ordered to stay at. The prosecutor begged the Judge not to make Seal stay there. Because he was the best government witness they had and hits have already been put on his head. He said forcing him to show up every night at the same place will without a doubt get him killed. TOO BAD the Judge said. The prosecutor then asked for him to be put in protective custody. NOPE, DENIED! The prosecutor believes there was a conspiracy inside the government which the judge was a part of. He said the Judges behavior only makes sense if he wanted Seal to be killed.

After he testified the judge gave him 6 months in a halfway house. Had to be there at 6:00 every night, couldn’t have bodyguards, arms, etc because he was still considered to be "in prison". They knew he was going to get killed like that but the judge felt he deserved it.
