It's amazing how much attention to detail was put into this movie to make it so close to the originals, really respectful of the source material. Truly one of the most lovingly crafted biopics. Clearly this was a labour of love for Tim Burton and he succeeded in that, it being a box office flop is the irony that befits Ed Wood and his biopic.

Me and My Shadows is the reason Liza and Lorna did. Ot speak for over 6 yrs. Liza was not pleased she knew nothing about it being made into a movie and she was not thrilled Lorna wrote the book.

😢 watching the story of Shirley Temple was a little frustrating because the actress did not look anything like her. I do believe actress who portrayed usually was talented. However, they should’ve chosen someone who looked more like Shirley and was younger.

What if all three BTTF movies were a single 90-minute film? While released in 1985. And no sequels or spinoffs existed afterwards(while under contract).

Val did a great job portraying him, but I think we can all be honest with each other and say that jim was far better looking. Having said that, who else could've played the role better than val?

On the set of this movie, Jim carey stayed in character while talking to Andys child who had never met her dad ever. The conversation lasted like an hour. He is pretending to be her father. Jim carrey is a piece of shit for doing this.

*A great attempt, certainly, but no one can do these two justice.* (and I’m a big Barrymore fan). They were both such unique gems..Little Edie especially had such a charming way about her.. from her accent, her poetic and peculiar way of putting things, her cadence, the micro expressions, mannerisms and laughter, her fashion sense for sure, her dancing and singing even the way she walked.. she didn’t just command a room, it was like the room didn’t exist until she arrived. She was the heartbeat of that house. No wonder her mother unfortunately couldn’t fathom being alone in it without her. They were both so fascinating on their own ...and together they were a firestorm of banter and bickering, hung on the past and a mirror that likely most every mother and daughter can see a tiny bit of themselves in. It’s really very odd to me that they would try to “recreate” these two at all when they did such a stellar job of being themselves. This is the essence of trying to reinvent the wheel..

My only only only complaint about BTTF 2 is I wish they had come up with a better way of "fixing" Jennifers presence . . Cause in interviews, they've said how they didn't really know what to do about her being there, since they had to follow the ending of the first movie..... I think they could have integrated her into it better.... Such as, WHAT IF Jennifer was there so she could distract Marty Jr from going into the Cafe 80s (since she is afterall his mother) ... But maybe she screwed it up because she was so shocked and stunned... That would explain why Marty Jr ended up showing up to Cafe 80s afterall.... And THEN WHAT IF, it was Jennifer that bought the Sports Almanac?! Like, maybe she sees it in the store window and buys it thinking, if this is all a dream, then she won't have the book when she wakes up... But if it IS real, then it would secure Marty and her financial future and it would prove to her that it was real... 🤷🏼‍♀️

you'll all be happy to learn that Jim Carrey's portrayal of Andy Kaufman in this film was never meant to be a clone or hyper-realistic depiction of Andy Kaufman. it's an embellishment necessary for the medium. movies need to be embellished - movies are fake :)
