At the start, "man with an imaginary blue friend," you're either thinking of HAPPY staring Christopher Meloni (man) and Patton Oswald (imaginary friend) or maybe Eric staring Benedict Comberbatch. The 2 monologs come from 2 of my favorite films ever. Hers was Jullianne Moores's character in Magnolia my favorite Paul Thomas Anderson film. His was Gary Oldman's character from True Romance another favorite film of mine. Both films have something in common as each are neck and neck for having the best casts in film history. Each film is stacked with names!

Once you realize that you love this show, I strongly recommend watching the "Get Shorty" show with the guy from The IT Crowd. Criminally, criminally underrated show along a similar premise. Hitter wanting to go Hollywood.
