This show is absolutely amazing!! Loved Esther!! Man than bird can sing!! ❤ I am going to see MK &the band tomorrow night @The Amazing Warner Theatre in Washington DC! This will be my 2nd live MK show! 1st was the MGM Grand in 2022, and I was blown to the back of the room from being on the rail !! Amazing E Reed cover! I ran out of storage on my phone @ 7:28 into it , and it rolled for another 3 mins! I need this tomorrow SO BAD! It's gonna save my soul, spirit and sanity after what I have gone through since last Oct. And 🙏 that I have finally removed the BAD JUJU I acquired from a spirit that lived in the apartment I moved into !! 🙏🙏✌️❤️🎵🇺🇲

What an amazing arrangement. Very rarely will you hear a horn arrangement that comes in right in the middle of a lead guitar "solo". Marcus writes his songs so that everyone in the band has a chance to shine, and his arrangements are superb. Rock solid drumming from Jack Ryan and Campbell plays some mean bass-lines. MK-ULTRA is my new HERO!

That's an interesting & refined tweak, JL. I'm old school & marvel at this young man...there's a purity you don't often see anymore. That's why I cannot listen to a lot of stuff today...so many guitar players just out of the grade school for guitar who should be wood shedding but instead they process their sound to hide their lack of technique. I mean, I'm cool with it, live & let live. I just don't listen. I'm also digging the way Marcus is synthesizing a stronger jazz angle into the other influences he has. Given time, he will break new ground which is hard to do. I'm pretty sure. Peace.

I didn't mean to offend. I have nothing against pedals especially the way Marcus uses his. I use an OD-1 for the same purpose you're talking about - I don't like adding dirt. It matches the guitar well. I was enjoying the conversation with you because I could tell you had experience. it's really not about us anyway. We both admire Marcus.
