I will never *not be disgusted by* how the NFL barely even slapped the Pats on the wrist for all their cheats. Especially in the _playoffs._ It's basically telling the rest of the teams to stop playing honestly. Same with 'roids in baseball. Bonds was putting up André Dawson numbers, at what some consider to be an easier defensive position, but was on pace to outdo him in HRs & stolen bases. But what really ruins it is when people who would _never_ have made the majors without them are considered the best. It taints every other player throughout history. Now I'll always wonder did MLB pay all past stars into silence or were they also cheats? Because if *I* was doing what Gary Carter was doing at The Hardest Position _without_ steroids, I'm *definitely* telling people that Mike Piazza doesn't belong in baseball. Except Carter was looking to be a coach or manager, so likely that was why.

@@Kevincg94 If being QB was only about ability to make throws you might have a point.... But lets face it.. Intangibles are way more important for QBs than athletics.. The ability to handle pressure The ability to make quick decisions correctly The ability to elevate your game when it really counts The ability to read a defense pre-snap and adjust the play or blocking The ability to move defenders with your eyes The ability to read the field correctly The ability to feel pressure and not take sacks (Peyton was a god at this) The ability to stay healthy (somewhat luck based but not completely) The ability to still play well while hurt or when your athleticism has decreased(which is why running QBs will never be remotely as valuable as MVP level pocket passers) If you were the best of all time in all those categories you would be the best QB of all time even if you couldn't throw it more than 20 yards and ran a 7.0 40 time. The above is why Brady is the best despite not even being a top 10 QB all-time by eye-test and ability to make all the throws. Greetings Barry. If you pay attention to baseball at all, I would love to see you make some videos ranking all time great players in that sport. If not, then your next football video should definitely be top 10 running backs or wide receivers ever.

Joe Greene also could have been an option for 75 and Calvin Johnson for 81 but overall a very good video

Very good. Only ones I really disagree with are #36 (Jerome Bettis), #45 (Emlen Tunnell, 2nd all-time in INTS), #53 (Harry Carson or Randy Gradishar, to which the latter SHOULD BE IN THE HALL OF FAME), #60 (really? you didn't put Eagles legend Chuck Bednarik?) and #94 (5-time Super Bowl champ Charles Haley).

I literally only clicked this video because of the thumbnail "who wore 12 better" to see if he had the balls to actually just pick one and then with that twist?! 👏 👏- that deserves a like. The joke about respecting his opinion earned a sub!

Honorable mention to Charles Woodson. Beast Mode should have gotten the nod, though. I was lucky enough to meet him on the sidewalk in Oakland, and he was super nice to me and my mom during our short interaction. Not only did he run like a stampeding rhino, but he does a LOT of great things for every community he spends time in without the expectation of being recognized for what he does.

#40: pat tillman. respect the troops
@ianL-S2 жыл бұрын
If you respect tillman you may want to look up what really happened surrounding his death. Not disrespecting the troops, but he was definitely disillusioned about the luster of serving. It's really sad that they prop him up as an example of the NFLs relationship with the troops when with what it sounds like, he'd hate being a tool on that front.

DId Tillman do anything of value in the NFL? That answer is no. Like the guy that mentioned Alstott, neither of them could carry Haynes' or Sayers' jocks Even mentioning Tillman disrespects the best players.

Love this list. As a Steelers fan Joe Greene is a mythical figure. As I am too young to have actually watched him play was Deacon Jones really better than him? Also has Aaron Donald already surpassed JJ Watt? Watt had probably the greatest 4 year stretch of a player in recent memory.
@kekkomartin58482 жыл бұрын
Yes, Deacon Jones was better than Mean Joe. it's not even that close. Jones had 173.5 sacks in 191 games (unofficially, as sacks weren't an official stat until 1982. (that's a higher sack rate than Bruce Smith the official sack leader who had 200 sacks in 278 games) Greene had 78 sacks in 181 games. Jones has 2 ints while Greene only had 1. Not that Ints are definitive for D-Linemen Jones had 22 sacks twice while Greene peaked at 11. To be fair, their tackle info isn't readily available, not even on pro-football-reference, and pro-football-reference gives Greene a slightly higher AV number than Jones, but the owner admits the formula to calculate that is not completely unsubjective and relative errors do appear. They changes the rules to make one of Jone's techniques illegal, which is among my personal list of greatness criteria.
@xaviervega468 Жыл бұрын
@@kekkomartin5848 Deacon Jones was an end, while Joe Greene was a tackle, so of course Deacon has more sacks. But Joe Greene demanded double teams on every play, which allowed the rest of the Steelers front 7 to eat.
