OK, I bought this on LP when it came out, late 1989. Great album. Love the new cover variant on the original art... suggesting that, after 35 years, the psychiatric hospital is a crumblin'. Like most hospitals I guess. A bit expensive for me, but it looks great. I'll settle for a new remaster double CD.

Along with the Police "Synchronicity" deluxe box set, this is another missed opportunity for a Blu-ray Atmos mix as well as a video of 1989/90 era live Crüe. Videos for all of the singles/videos that were released and played on the radio and MTV would have been nice and almost expected. But no, instead we get stickers, posters, patches and demos that have been previously released. The "Shout..." deluxe box set suffered from the same problems/omissions so BOTH releases are a NO for me. Talk about a cash grab!

I completely agree! I'm a huge fan of The Police, nice collection but didn't buy the new Synchronicity box set because demos I'd listen to once. And all these papers, pictures, postcards and stickers here fun to see once or twice before they get put right back into these type sets. Atmos and videos in 4K HD or similar would make sets like this so much better

Thank you so much Brilliant stuff Enormous Motley Crue diehard Getting both versions Loving what the band and BMG are doing since selling their catalog. Amazing for hardcore fans But even more important is the fact they keep releasing new music. Admittedly not a full length album since 2008 but there were new songs in 12,15,19 and 24 either individual singles or EP’s worth of new stuff. Some bands from the era don’t even bother anymore. Love the Cancelled EP Great time to be a fan, and yes I’m well aware of their many current controversies. Have enjoyed many of your videos over the years Keep up the great work

I have to say, that this is a typically poor show from Mötley Crüe. I won’t argue with the quality of the album. Dr. Feelgood was, in my opinion, the band’s peak. The self titled record with John Corabi was actually as good, but criminally ignored because “Vince Neil isn’t singing on it.” So, when we actually look at the contents, you get the album remastered and two 5 track CDs of music - three songs of which are repeated on both additional CDs in either live or demo form. Then, aside from that, you have to say in all honesty that the rest is “tat.” If you are going to charge £120+ for a box set, then for me the content simply has to be worth it. Do I need a poster? I’m 47 years old. I’m sure my wife would be ecstatic about me hanging that in the lounge. Do I need an envelope with a tour laminate, stickers etc? No. I’m sure I am not in the minority when, for £120+, I expect lots of musical content. Where’s the bluray and Atmos mix? Where’s the audio/visual of a prime Dr. Feelgood era gig? Where’s are other demos, outtakes, or single B-Sides? I accept that sometimes that isn’t available, so if that’s the case, make this a deluxe double cd for £15-£20. Of course it’s subjective as to whether or not the cost of the box justifies the content and we are all different - each to their own. However, for the reasons stated it is a hard pass for me.

Wow.... Not to troll but lost a lot of respect for you with this one. This is a horrific pop album "metalized" with distorted guitars. Close your eyes and picture Backstreet Boys singing "Dr Feelgood" or "Girls, Girls, Girls." It totally fits. Bubble gum pop. To each their own, I guess.
