I definitely stand by what I said about that. It was chewy and gum like, almost like chewing a slim jim with the paper layer on still. I tried it again sometime later and unfortunately it was the same result. Hell, I wanted it to be good. I want to have a good quality food establishment in the northeast but it seems like it's best for ambience.

Interesting pizza ....Even with the massive oil overflow it held the crust in a horizontal primary position boner crust. Score seemed fair. The cheesesteak looked much more compact than others I've eaten. I can see why the Prez ranked it better. Nice owner and cozy crowd.

Just tried Carmela's a few minutes ago... Dave ranked Vince's on Grant (trash) higher than this? I'd put this up there with Conte's in Princeton which he gave an 8.9...maybe a notch higher because I like a little chewiness with my crunch. This pie will survive a reheat in the oven on the next day and not turn into a pile of crumbs. Just the righ amount of water content in the dough to achieve a crispy and chewy crust. It's light and airy too! Vince's was like a Popeye's biscuit. Keep it up Carmela's! I have found my new neighborhood spot!
