Really 7.9: Dave forgot the backstory. The owner came from Italy traveling steerage and started making pizza to support his family so they could go to Trump University majoring in Mickey Mouse studies. That was 90 years ago, and to buy the dough (they had no money for flour and yeast), he wore a pirates of the Caribbean outfit at Magic Kingdom. He was hired there because his own great granddad made the pizzas for the real Jack Sparo, which 175 years ago was still spelled Sbarro. One thing led to another and “Jack Sbarro” (spelling changed to dodge the taxman! Another reason to add bonus to score) instead of ripping people off as a regular pirate, opens his first shopping mall pizza shop at the Orlando Shopping Emporium mall. They had a duel because Sbarro was using this guy’s granddad’s pizza recipe and they used the money from the duel (they sold tickets and pizza there) to put everybody through college (and Trump University), and they traveled back to the old country to get the aunt’s original pizza oven, but everybody was too poor to pay shipment on the oven, so Jack Sparo (Sbarro) had to get his old pirate ship back to bring the oven across the sea, and Jack met Walt Disney and the rest is history, but that led to the pandemic and business dropped off and they all went to Sbarro’s to get the pizza recipe back, and they had another duel and decided to all be friends and have pizza.
