While it took him a few years to bewt ohio, he immediately started winning 10 games. Day took over a team that had won 13 and 12 games and a program in the best shape in its history. Other than his first year with urban's players, he immediately started losing every big game. See the difference? Born on 3rd base Cooper went 2-10-1 against Michigan, so maybe ohio has the appetite to let Day continue for another few years? We hope so. If Day was allowed to stay for 12 years, I could definitely see another 2-10 record.

So regarding the flag planting, how about this: Only for the major rivalry games and using this as an example, if UM goes to OSU and wins in the Horseshoe, OhioSt has to fly a UM flag at the stadium. It cant come down until they win at the opposing teams stadium at which time their flag must be flown at The Big House. That way the incentive and insult remains and it (hopefully) removes the foolishness after the game.
