High Volume and cutting is the best way too lose your gainz... High Intensity, low Volume and a deficit is the way to go. You should read Lyle McDonalds Articles about that topic.

Barbell Brigade is such an awesome gym. I hope you guys open up gyms in different locations soon like NYC, even though I live right across the GWB from the city, I would totally commute to there just to lift at that gym. I need a gym like Barbell Brigsade near me or a gym like the one Elliott Hulse owns, Strength Camp. Commercial gyms suck. The gym I go to isn't too bad for powerlifting and some olympic weight lifting though, compared to other gyms in my area (and there are not that many)

This is why I like most gym communities. You want to lose weight, so you say how you will do it, then you just do it. This is what most people do when they want to lose weight (cut). People outside the gym always make a huge deal about it and have zero willpower. It is literally a "just do it" thing.

So to ensure you are maximizing muscle growth, ensure that gravity is not doing the work for you on the eccentric, and that you’re trying to forcefully accelerate the load on the concentric (Force = mass x acceleration). You want a forceful concentric contraction, and then a controlled eccentric contraction, but not unnecessarily slow. So once again, just lift the weights!

I think that you will loose some size in your arms. People store fat in different places, and the ones that loose a lot of arm size on cuts, clearly store in their arms. It looks like you are that type of person. No vein activity going on, and though they are big, they look a bit soft. Me personally, I just gain fat on my belly. I have veins popping out from my quads, calves, biceps and forearms at above 20% bf. So my arms and legs look very small compared to my frame..

same shit here. yes he stores a lot of fat on his arms. if he was dropping below 10% he would have like 15inch at best. but he will only be going down to around 12% I would think as he cares about powerlifting and theres no need to go below 10-12% if your not going to compete in a BB show.

Why does Bart still want to maintain his arm size? After a cut like what he wants, i would assume it would decrease size by alot, but toned and ripped, and thats not necessarily bad either. You can still be strong without the biggest biceps and triceps in the world right?

There is no way he can do a 5x5 at 85% with the same speed as at 67%. That is simply unrealistic. Most people struggle with 5x5 at 85%.
