I have the OG in my main bar and the duet in my downstairs bar… love them both, definitely love the duet bottles better.

How do you remove the capsule holder on the duet to clean? The directions that came with it said to press down and pull up to clean it but the duet has springs and doesn’t look like the original one. I can’t find this info anywhere & I don’t want to break it.

I won the 4 bottle Bartesian at my companies Holiday party. I like it! So far, so good. I bought the stand and the travel bag that goes with it (because I'm bougie). I just did a cleaning on it, it was pretty simple process, however, I had to pour the remaining liquors back into the original bottles, then filled the bottles up with water. I found that to be a pain, so I just bought 4 more bottles (@$20 a piece) as back up and to use to clean the machine. In total, I spent about $250 for capsules, stand, extra bottles and the travel bag. Wait... WTH!? I need to analyze my life choices... LOLOL

@@ejg7929 Truthfully, I have not used it much. I get bored rather quickly (ask my ex-GFs). LOL! It's a novelty, that's sitting there. However, I do like it. If you just want that quick drink, just pop in a pod and it's on! I would say, with the exception of the travel bag, everything else is a must. I have 2 extra water reservoirs (by accident... I thought I was getting the clear reservoir), and 8 extra spirit bottles. Four I just use for cleaning out the Bartesian. Also, they were super nice when I realized that I mistakenly bought the reservoir. They not only refunded my money, but they also told me to keep the reservoir instead of sending it back.

I have the Pro version and the OG. I do like how the Pro version dial works, but the OG does finish a bit quicker( to the point it says you can remove the pod. I use different types of alcohol on each.

How much are the drinks at the bar cause I think the capsules are cheaper 8 capsules for $20 so about $2.50 per capsule

For the duet, can you choose the strength of the cocktail like you can for the OG?

@@ashlaav if you put cold water into the reservoir and use it quickly it will generally come out at that temp but the machine doesn’t cool it. It’ll be room temperature and need ice in most cases.

For the duet couldn't you just put the other two liquors needed inside the drinking glass before starting a long island so you can make a perfect long island without having four bottle reservoirs? @@TecHMoE
