Not being around people is also my idea of a cool time. My need for social interaction is pretty low. Some people get soooo bored being by themselves. Couldn't be me. I very rarely feel bored, but I can feel bored being in a group of people that I don't want to be around.

This video took me on an emotional rollercoaster! 😅 I am similar to both of you, I only want to use my social energy for people I think are "cool" or worthwhile... I "try" a lot less with people that I have no desire to connect with. But I got so frustrated with Geo at first for seeming like she literally has NO desire to connect with or learn from anyone until they pass some kind of test or standards that SHE puts in place, even if they are smarter or an expert in something she cares about... Like they have to prove to her that she can learn something from them? But I realized as the video went on that this is something Geo has become aware of and wants to work on, which is super effing admirable! Being self-aware and critical of your own behavior is HARD and EVEN harder to do in public. Congrats, Geo. "The work doesn't stop." And we should ALLLLLL be working like Geo. ❤️

Meeting new ppl is ok. But there's a difference from meeting and making new friends. Quality over quantity. I think that having 5 friends is good but all you really need is 1 really really good friend. I'm cautious of who I permit/share my personal life with . A lot of Ppl are snakes and disingenuous. When I meet knew ppl I sit back, watch and listen and then decide whether I will allow this person in 🤷🏻‍♀️

You guys talking about building that tribe w your neighbors is so great because I grew up on my street since I was 4, I’m about to be 25 soon, and my whole family and I are still in contact w our old neighbors! Literally they’ve seen me grow up, I’m close w their kids, we still have family dinners, go camping/hiking and what not My best friend was my old neighbor right across the street from me It’s so amazing to have those memories and to continue building them!

I’ve never had a tribe. Ironic, one side of my family is full Native American but in my intermediate family, we were taught to cut off people or protect ourselves instead of what family really means. It affected even my friendships. I don’t know how to be on a tribe & even being around a lot of people is draining. I just turned 32 & I’m a single mom. I’m incredibly self sufficient it have absolutely no tribe because my family is broken & it’s hard to find my tribe when so many other already have theirs. It truly is a rewiring of the brain.

Can I just say I agree with Geo. U meet all kinds of people m, good and bad. When u already have a few good friends, should be enough. I keep my circle small.

What are some ways to build genuine rapport with people? Also, I don't feel that I'm at the TOP of anything in my life, so how do I offer sustenance to peoples lives that already more than I can offer? I want to have a strong tribe and be a strong tribesman to the people around me.

Ive been following you guys for yeaaaars now and from what i heard about your family life geo, you say that you remember having to be locked up in your house alot and not being allowed to talk to the nieghbors and tbh my childhood is pretty similar I rememeber being told dont trust people or by example my family would keep a very small circle and never want to actually expain the tribe So i do get where your coming from and the struggle your goin through because i have that same struggle girl Much love tho you guys ✌️❤️

i think Geo is just her dads twin, & prob hold deep emotional trauma from his passing, like i think also partially biased & prejudice, like i personally don’t think Ye(kanye west) has gone bonkers, he just was pushed to the limit & doesn’t give a fuck anymore . & i think bart learning from other ppls lives , troubles, mistakes, & traumas it reassures him about his personal ones & makes him feel not too crazy.

& wanting an interview instead of actually connecting with someone through communication it’d open up more questions that help you get to actually know the person instead of asking the same old boring, irrelevant questions
