Looks like a good use of a rigging ring, when needing a control line. Simple setup.

It works ok I only don't like the friction between the control line vs the atache point of the speed line ( mostly on the knot at the rigging ring) Thanks

One solution to this could be separate the lines, ataching the speed line directly to the stem an the rigging ring for the control line below the speed's line atache point.

Your control line could easily abraid your speedline in that configuration

@@BartlettArboristSupply watch after 8:18 It takes but a second or 2 rubbing a line under tension to cut enough for it to fail

It makes me so happy how we (cause i do it too...) rev the imaginary engine on our E chainsaws... Lol! If you don't it might cut off on you. :)
