Inquest into workshop accident reveals the TRUE cause!

Well it’s a sad week here at Barum Engines as we investigate the cause of the workshop accident. On the plus side, it’s track day tomorrow and we are buzzing to test out the new engined kitcar

Although you guys attempted to give the now deceased mouse it's due reverance in yesterday's video's I did notice some sniggering. I thought with reflection you might today have addressed the issue with more decorum, but no. Canada here! I once tied a dead mouse ( with string ) spread eagle to the hood of my pickup truck. Got a nice picture of me in my Mackinaw coat, with my rifle, and one foot up on the front bumper. Kids love that stuff!

We’re all about equal opportunity here. Just because Sparky was electrically challenged, that’s no reason to diminish his memory. To be fair he could actually be an unintended casualty of the Barum tidy up. No left over sandwiches in the corner for the nightshift may have forced him onto trying an insulation snagger. Your van and track car look great. Suggestion: Build a 2 metre tall wall alongside your workshop, so you can hide all of the old timber crates and other junk behind it. This wall would be installed on top of the small brick wall that extends from your current building.

I did a Trackday at Castle Coombe in the mid nineties and blew up my Alpina engine, it dropped a valve. Very expensive to build another engine due to a lack of a new Alpina head.

Be carefull of c.v.h camshaft , no be arings in head. Some engines had valve gear noise from new whoch disapeared after 6000 miles . Fault was eventually diagnosed as camshsaft bore ipn c9ylinder head becoming distorted, noise disappeared when bore wore and ovalised.
