We show the next stages of the unleaded conversion on the Mini cylinder head. We show how we fit hardened valve seat inserts to the cylinder head to withstand the temperatures due to running unleaded fuel.
We seem to have blown up our new very expensive kit car dash. After several attempts to upload the new configuration data from the laptop our dash went off and never came on again.

I put hardened valve seats in my 1959 Jeep truck, L-head 226 engine, in 1990, and it's run great all these years, using 89 octane unleaded fuel, here in California.

When I was building my '67 Chevy 327 some 40 years ago I had the machine shop put in Stellite seats. Those heads would be valuable now but the car is long gone. The 2.02 exhaust valve heads, aka "Double Hump" or "Camel Hump" heads. Got a pair of them on the 350 that's in my '76 Monza 2+2. For those that don't know that works out to about 325 HP in a 2750# car. ;)

Buy a gear indicator for the bike engine you have. You can get them for virtually every bike. In diffrent colours aswell. Very handy to know what gear your in.

Instead of using that Fluid Weld, just freeze them to get them to shrink, install them, and let them come to room temperature locking them in solidly place

4:00 Number two inlet seat looks like there's a crack where it meets the exhaust insert. There's a clear dark line.

Got some air cooled VW heads and some stag heads by the looks of it always hate pressure testing stag heads and they are always porous so they need welding but even then welding them is a pig I've done a load of mini unleaded cylinder heads they are always different same with spring heights on the back they are always different had some 1mm lower than the rest

One of the biggest reasons I stop watching videos is when I'm nearly halfway through the video and it has absolutely nothing to do with the title. If you want to make a video about valves and valve seats be my guest but please at least call it that.
