As a Mexican, I'm deeply disappointed in the lack of actually Mexican inspired Buy catalogue. We have so many iconic furnishings in my culture, it feels like they didn't even do any research or try at all.

i really understand your frustration at this pack and it’s totally unacceptable they didn’t even try to add cultural items from mexico….. i’m eastern european and i can’t even imagine how disappointed i’d be if they used my culture as a decoration with no representation 💔💔💔

I totally agree, the sims packs right now is really disappointing. Because know we have just stupid packs instead of packs that we actually want like more apartments, cars, bands and more

i’m pretty bummed about that as well. The world looks great, but other than that the only things that jumped out to me was the tortillero and the doors and the doors and windows.

As a Mexican living in Mexico city where this pack is inspired on. I think a lot of furniture is pretty accurate and modern. I’m glad The Sims didn’t fall over stereotypes of Mexico like everyone was expecting

I feel like I’d be fine with the lesser developed gameplay aspects (this feels like a game pack) if they committed to representing the culture properly

this is the first build that actually looks like it was taken from Mexico. everyone I've seen thus far has not used ANY of the build items for its intended use or like inspirational-use, thank you for researching Simlicy!

not only are the build items lacking, the sims team padded the catalogue with duplicates of items (like a mirror with swatch differences being two different objects, and the same window being listed twice as a flat wall and rounded wall window). not to mention missing basics like a full size couch or bookshelf…..it’s so disappointing and greedy

I've used the tile backsplash with the basegame fireplace that doesn't have the fire in it, it looks so pretty

The heart bed fits very well with the Pastel Pop kit! I used it in a pastel/“kawaii” apartment build and it turned out so well.

Hay algunas cosas que son parecidas, si. Pero el estilo general no es muy español. Por ejemplo, las cortinas de cuentas, la alfombra de rayas, los cuadros y las esculturas… Bueno y el mundo en general, los edificios y las plantas. Yo creo que España seria una mezcla entre este y my wedding stories, que mas Mediterráneo.

Lovely build! It also seems like EA is leaning more into the expansion side of expansion packs. The last few ones feel like they are meant to be integrated into your current gameplay. Lovestruck items go so well with Jungle Adventures especially

I think the blue flower from live edit it is supposed to be an agapanthus. I have them in my garden they’re really beautiful.

Beautiful!! I also would've loved to see more Mexican / South American decor, but I suppose with BG and Jungle Adventure we can make do. I still love the stuff from lovestruck regardless 😅❤

I was worried when I heard about this pack that it should be gameplay and hearing about it how much furniture they’re lacking is so sad. Not worth $40 at all.

I agree, this pack should have been a gameplay pack but we know EA. It also is lacking more new interactions cause yes it makes romance more complicated but it’s pretty much just the same interactions from base game with a few new animations. They should’ve made this a gameplay one and the hotels one a Spanish style expansion pack imo.

I feel like it’s more like Spanish inspired theme this time, like mixed in with probably with a little bit of Mexico, Argentina etc. but for me it gives Spanish vibe first. Maybe it’s the european in me😂

The build and buy is incohesive some of the items go well with the world while the others consist of items you use for community lot and others have that tacky nostalgic theme from older sims games.

I feel like. For the same price that we pay for expansion packs. The price didn't change but the packs have changed. They've gotten a lot smaller a lot. Compact, but the price is still the same and we have less items than we initially would get. Which I don't think is right. I don't think it's fair. They're charging the same amount of money for the expansion pact that we've always paid, but the content is a lot less and a lot compact.
