This is why fighterZ is so cool. Unlike in other DB games were multiple Goku’s played almost the same, this game has 5 different Goku’s and yet each HS their own play style. Hope to see this Goku used in tournaments soon 👍

Which is why I want Super Saiyan 4 Goku in this game. Imagine guys, a freaking Dragon Fist as his level 3 move. Super Saiyan 4 Goku will have the most amazing moveset if he was in this game. But obviously we won't get it, I mean no matter how cool FighterZ did their multiple version of the same character, fans will be mad if another Goku was added.

Man that special of the upward fireballs and then the downward kick from above looks marvelous. The adaptation of that series of attacks from the anime to the game was done so beautifully and accurately... I commend Arcsys for that.

No you don't. Do the first three moves of his auto combo then charge it. You'll have plenty of time to reach max charge while they're bouncing off the far wall.

Here is another thing about the spirit bomb. If you switch out Goku, you get to keep all that charged energy (assuming you charged it)

I would assume so. Everything in this game can be refected except dragon rush. If you are talking about the Super Spirit Bomb (lv.3 super) I wouldn't take the risk. Reflecting that is pretty hard since you don't know when it will land, and it does A LOT of chip dmg. What I would do is just wait for the bomb to get closer to the ground and away from Goku. Once that happens, just vanish; if you vanish right when the Spirit bomb is launched, you will get caught up in the bomb and take a fuck ton of dmg

An Explosion yea do goku’s BnB into his L smash punch and so his instant kamehameha and as soon as goku appears for the blast do base goku’s spirit bomb It works so well that sometimes I just throw it out to look at it. Once you get real good with it you can use goku’s double super kamehameha combo into spirit bomb for max damage

An Explosion I use kid buu as my starter I basically use him to build meter for ssj goku then when buu falls I go hard with goku to ensure I take out as much of the enemy team as possible and when I know ssj goku is gonna go down I stop using meter and build up to 7 then let him fall. Base goku comes out and I spark and go in with the kiaoken setups to end the match with all my meter. That game plan usually works for all opponents but when I’m outmatched in skill I mix it up and swap kid buu for goku starting out eliminating my kamehameha spirit bomb combo but allowing me to use kid buu mid Match for pressure and using ssj goku at the start to really put a dent in my opponents team

I tend to swap between Ssj Goku and Adult Gohan to spread out the damage between them (Because they heal when not being used, of course.) I also occasionaly pull Baseku out if they are both healing.

You can land his grab from the kaioken in a corner. If you doing combos you can do the hits that you want and then you gotta do the special which is that ki blast wave and then the heavy and it connects

Super Spirit Bomb is really situational. I also found that you can trick inexperienced players to teleport behind you if you randomly trigger Super Spirit Bomb. If they do it right away, you have a guaranteed hit. Finally you can fire the SSB during someone's level 3 attack, say Vegito, Vegeta SSJ or Blue. If you notice them activating that, then if you make the move in time Goku will teleport way above them and smash their asses with SSB.

I can already see it 5 months from now " Hello and welcome to another Dragon Ball Fighterz video and today Tgnanime will be doing a breakdown for Kid Goku!" "Unlike his older forms one thing to note about Kid Goku is that what he lacks in height he makes up for in mixups. Kid Goku has no ki blast when pressing The special button but does use his trusty power pole which is a great zoning option. His lows and mid hits are similar to his adult forms and his overhead uses the power pole again mean it has chance to hit slight mid air foes. Moving on by pressing quarter circle forward and special Goku will use kamehameha, sadly he can't direction it like his adult form, maybe he hasn't learned angels yet. Pressing quarter circle forward and the attack buttons we move on to his gimmick know as the Jaken Fist or "Rock Paper scissors" pressing quarter circle forward Light has him use Rock, a fast striking attack with no knock down, the mid version is interesting in the sense the Goku will use Sissors, this causes Goku to do and upward strike causing the opponent to fly upward. The reason for this is ideally to match with Goku's down special know as Power Pole Slam. This attack has Goku knock the opponent forward if the are in mid air. The closer to the tip of the power pole the harder the knock down. And finally quarter circle forward Heavy, Goku does Paper, a forward strike that just as fast as Rock and provides a wall bounce. Moving on to Supers Goku has 3 of them, 2 level 1's and a level 3. The first one is the Super Kamehameha, pressing quarter circle forward and the right bumper Goku will launch a blast straight forward. The move is intresteing in the sense it's much like SS Goku's. Kid Goku has two versions of this attack. By pressing quarter circle forward and the right trigger, instead of shoring the blast, Goku will use the blast to launch himself forward for a charging punch. The difference between the two is that when launching a beam Goku's chest with face the camera, while the punch version has his left shoulder facing the camera. His second level can only be performed in mid air and it called "Nimbus" While in air Goku rides on the nimbus hitting the opponent multiple times in mid air. While attacking you can control Goku's direction much like Yamcha spirit ball but be careful, when move is over Goku is in a landing pose making him wide open if you places him in the wrong direction, so it will take some practice. And finally his level 3. Known as Great Ape. Pressing quarter circle backwards and right trigger, Goku looks up in the sky and begins to transform into a large Ape and slam his fist down. You can hold the button for multiple strikes. However, it cost 2 extra bars of Ki. The damage is massive however when finished Goku will have a cool down pose making him open.

Goku actually does have a way of using a pseudo invincible super on reaction. All you have to do is activate Kaioken and instantly go for the ender.

As a base Goku main, his super spirit bomb is an absolute last resort or if I can get the kill by combing kefla's level one into goku's level 3. But he's definitely one of if not the best anchor in the game.

Here’s a way I found to land base Goku’s Super Genki Dama, so just ordinarily finish the combo first as you would, then use a level one to add the extra damage, (do it again if you want), then into switching into Goku’s level 3. Landed 2/2 times on casual matches. Yes, not that many to be considered credible lol.

You know what I love? Goku's down special move is an almost EXACT copy of the underwater Kamehameha from his fight with Frieza. Even the overhead after it is an almost exact match Love how accurate it is to the anime. Only difference is the color. It should be blue not yellow.

Hey so blue Vegeta can combo into Goku Spirit Bomb if you use his assist after a vanish it will pop them right to the Spirit Bomb but it is specific on certain characters one of them it does not work on is freiza

Based on initial impression i think he's better than Goku Blue (assuming he's not buffed enough to be on par with the other gokus) but SS Goku is still the safest bet and more versatile and can run on any position, though a lot more honest and straightforward though than Goku Base.

If their health runs out while you're doing the "ender" (R1) you get that pose. So you basically just have to land the final blow of the kaioken when they have no health left.

You don't even need an assist. Land the first three hits of the auto combo, then charge spirit bomb while they're bouncing off the far wall. Also yes you can charge a second spirit bomb while they're being launched airborne by the one you just hit them with. If I can't get full charge I'll nail them with it then charge while it's launching them skyward = guaranteed max charge.
