One of the main things I love about Fighterz is how every character actual plays so true to the show. Vegeta is very offensive, Krillin always seems to fall a bit short, Kid Buu can kick your ass from anywhere on the screen, and Cooler is a straight up powerhouse. Cooler was always *cooler* than Frieza to me because he felt the same but so much more different. Cooler seemed like an actual universal emperor and was calm and intimidating even before his final form while Frieza was just scary and sadistic. Frieza had all these cool techniques while Cooler was in your face brute force. The knees and elbows seemed brutal and I'm happy that some of his moves go through beams because one of the coolest parts of the movie was him flying through a kamehameha like it was nothing and decking Goku in the face.

Another small touch true to the show, in Frieza and Goku's first fight on Namek Frieza made a bet that he could beat Goku without using his hands. In DBFZ all of Frieza's attacks (aside from the universal Dragon Rush animation) are either projectiles, kicks, tail swipes, or elbows.

Jonathan Veliz He is a tricky, tactictal character with low damage and great mixups. It's pretty accurate to the show.

I was just thinking that. They should do that with all the z movies. Imagine Super 13 vs the new super broly, bojack and hirudigon! Tapion would make way more sense in super and be such a cool way to give trunks his sword and make him like future trunks. So much potential right there.

Fun fact Coolers ground level 3 does not work against the following charcters supers: Both Android 16's level 3's because they're both grabs Beerus level 3 because it is a grab Trunks level 3 because it is a grab Both Tien's level 3's: His Chioatzu level 3 because it's considered a grab and oddly his Neo Tri Beam level 3 because on startup this move throws Tien high into the air. the game for some reason ignores this and Cooler vanishes behind where Tien would be standing if he where on the ground, however Tien's fall is delayed causing the super to whiff.

You can combo into a dive kick without a assist if you do a ki blast

The only thing that can seemingly _counter_ his _counter_ Lvl3 are grabs, so Dragon Rush, Beerus' Lvl3, Trunks' Lvl3, 16, etc. Also Tien's Neo Tri-Beam can apparently beat it out as well if you hold it.

Just started playing this game (xbox had a deal where i got the ultimate version for 16 dollars) and i kinda like cooler. I'm still an intermediate at fighting games but if combo'd right cooler can keep bouncing an opponent off the wall it's fairly hard to counter (at least the ai struggles in tournament of power mode since i went through at least one or two fights without switching and getting some assists while only taking minimal damage. It was the third one where you don't get your health back between matches)

Tbh Cooler's actually an above avg dmg dealer due to shit like the scaling on his lvl 1 and many of the combos ur gonna catch (or just optimal combos) coming off of mediums. He's not the most dmging in the game, but ur vid kinda makes him sound less dmging than he is
