how much variation with the manual calculation can we allow??Say, in this tutorial, Base shear are 2.53% of total weight from etabs and 3.59% from manual calculation. The difference is 1.06% of the total weight.

The soil type (S) entered in excel sheet & ETABs is taken from UBC 1994 ..whats would be its equivalent in UBC 1997 ?? Is it the coefficient Fa and Fv ?? Kindly share snap shot of table showing soil types S1, S2, S3 and S4 in from 1994 UBC
