2:30-4:30 rear hip joint load/unload in detail. Landing on weighted front leg too early and without this torque load is a lower body stall move that results in a forced push of the handle. All seems very applicable to golf swing yet never talked about or taught... eye opening 🙏🙏🙏

Teacherman: can you do a swing analysis of Willie Stargell, Dave Kingman, and Jose Canseco? Those 3 hit some of the longest home runs ever, and at quick glance, all 3 have some of your swing characteristics in theirs. Thx.

I am new to your videos. I am interested to know if you ever looked at these moves at it relates to the golf swing. I believe the arm and wrist locations vs building lag in the golf swing are actually very similar.

I wonder the same thing. His idea of the pivot of the lower body off the trail leg is especially intriguing. Also, how can the snap be incorporated into the golf motion? I'd love to hear his thoughts.

What your saying I agree with as so called top hand hitter but some pull through as George Brett and others usually throw right hit left Ted Williams rotated great swing but threw right and hit left but unlike a Brett he wanted the hand closest to sweet spot to deliver last pop through ok he also stated if had of thrown left handed he would have been a different left hand hitter but he also talked about final snap people associate him with rotation with.what you are describing that would.be a spin out i know it would be for me

Work for slowpitch softball?
@DPain827 ай бұрын
Yes, you just have to change the timing. Slow pitch gives you even more freedom as the ball is dropping at a steeper angle instead of traveling through the zone. You can pick the slow pitch softball apart. Hit it high in the zone, mid or low.
@danielhoward45664 ай бұрын
You still have to time the pitch.
@keithriley18804 ай бұрын
His point is that this method gives you more time to read the pitch...and it does. Implicitly, that includes timing.

I never seen this guy get his barrel to the lower strike zone in any of his videos and pitchers throw outside 70+% to the low outside part of the plate, so hitters beware of who you think can teach hitting.

So how did Willie Mays, Hank Aaron, Ken Griffey Jr. hit so well? They didn’t hit off their back leg. They don’t fit into your theory.

And how fast was the average fastball, breaking ball, etc. when Hank and WIllie played? Hard to tell, but we know it's gotten faster in the last 15-20 years - it's probably been a constant progression. So in all likelihood, MLB hitters didn't _have_ to have this kind of launch quickness for the average MLB pitcher's fastball in those days. And not for nothing, watch some slow-mo video of KG2. He was definitely coiling on the back knee when loading. I can flip your argument right around and it holds as much weight because it's a non-sequitor - it can't be tested, therefore it can't be proven. If Willie, Hank, and KG2 had swung with Schenck's instructions, they would have had even higher output. How do you know _that_ isn't true? Well, we can't, because the inverse of your argument also cannot be tested.

For anyone wondering… this technique does not work for everybody. Me and my son were in the cages today and when he tried to pivot his barrel around his hands before he pushed his hands outward, his front-arm wrist got soft, and movable. Maybe for Aaron it feels natural. If you and or your son are looking for something for natural, go to Ron Sullivans video on the purpose of the top hand arm. His theory of mentality in that video is much more natural for my son and from my eyes, looks more athletic and balanced, as well as more natural.

Also, your 2 pivot points theory goes against the kinetic link understanding of swing mechanics. You’re gonna have a real uphill battle going against the kinetic link understanding of human movement.
